Trub

And by that I mean, trouble.
That's what's coming for Jane. Mwa ha ha ha ha. *grins* I love writing this story.

In writing Newy, I have actually learned something about trouble. They say that the action should keep building until the climax, and well, I am learning that that is easier said than done. It really is a delicate process. You have to be constantly aware of what's happening and what happened and what is going to happen.

Also, Newy has a tricky climax, in that it is not the end of the book. Well, it's the end, but there are several significant things that have to happen after the climax. Tricky, tricky. I won't say much more. Wouldn't want to give it away.

Oh, you big tease, you. I'm so excited for you! And me, cause I get to read this one, right?

Right?

That, or we're probably going to beat you up in Utah. You may be taller, but there's two of us...and short girls are FEISTY.

ARG! We are feisty--we'll bite your ankles right off. And after that you're just dead.

I'm so excited! 42k--that' just wonderful. Do you think you're over half way? How long are you projecting? I can't wait...Thank goodness I have distractions.

Gals, please, I could sqaush you with my pinkie finger, as one does a little ant.

:)

Anyway, sorry for the cryptic post and update. I was a little loopy last night. I think I'd had a bit too much Dr. Pepper.

OF COURSE you guys can read it. I want you to read it. I'm actually dying to hear what you guys think.

And Natalie, I would say that I am at least 2/3 of the way done. Possibly 3/4. The end is in sight. I just need to pound it out on the paper, electronic paper.

Projected finishing date: August 5th.

I'm so happy to hear August 5th:) I can move straight from Breaking Dawn to Newy:) I'm sure it will be a good pick-me-up after what I'm guessing will be a moderately-seriously depressing book.

Oh, I'm just going to be happy to read Breaking Dawn and finally be rid of the lot of them.

And I'm so excited, Renee! That's a great goal date...

Also, I've seen your pictures. You may be tall, but you look scrawny. I think Natalie and I could take you--EASY. Fortunately it looks like we won't have to.

The boys used to call me Wolverine in school cuz I could beat the crap out of them and had nails.

And I was proud of this...

Renee Collins said...

Well, okay, I guess you could take me, but only if Wolverine chewed off my ankles as she threatened.

That would make me fall, and as tall as I am, that's a looooong way down.

RAWR!

lol. Don't worry. We'll be nice to you in Utah. As long as you share Jane with us.

I was Sharp Shoes in fifth and sixth grade, because I kicked the boys so hard in the shins sometimes it took off skin.

Yikes. Maybe I should write some apology letters.

Oh man, Kierst we would have made quite the team! lol.

There was this one time when these boys came to ambush us with water balloons and I ran after one and tried to grab at him.

Well, he wasn't wearing a shirt and I had skin under my finger nails. He was bleeding! I still feel awful for that.

Wolverine, Sharp Shoes. Sounds like you two were a couple of scary little kids.

In fifth grade, the boys probably just called me Geek, if they spoke of me at all.

Scary nothing--the boys I was kicking were the ones who were in love with me, so wouldn't leave me alone.
