Weird Science

For the past few months now, I've been toying with three different ideas. Notebooks have been filled. Outlines have been formed. I've even started writing two of them. But something kept tripping me up. I couldn't put my finger on it.

And then, a few days ago, it hit me. The answer to my problem. It was staring me in the face all along. I simply broke off the major pieces of each story that I liked and smashed them into one. And like that, I had my story. The moment went something like this.

(*sigh* Gene Wilder. Gotta love him.)

So anyway, from now on, you'll know what I'm talking about when I refer to my FrankenWiP. But I can't talk more about it now. I have work to do. Much work.

*sinister lightning flashes*

Yes . . . much work. . .

*runs off to secret lab*

Can't wait to hear more about it!
Love the Wilder man! Oh. gosh. love him.
You seem to have had a similar experience with your new one. I recently mashed two ideas together myself! I just love when that happens. Good luck!

I know what you mean. Sometimes when I hit a huge wall I will pull in an idea I had for another book into the one I'm working on. It's a great way to knock down that pesky writer's block.

Colene-It's pretty exciting isn't it? And in my case, I have tons of notes on each story, so I think I might be close to starting to write! (NaNo calls to me . . .)

Greg-Yes. Writer's Block is a pretty good way to describe what I've been wading through. Thank goodness it's clearing up.

Michelle-I don't mean to tease! I promise I'll share soon. :)

I love that idea. Maybe I'll have to take all my half finished projects and see if they can be mashed together. :)
