1. I'm no good at turning off the inner editor.
2. I constantly second guess my choices because I'm obsessed with making sure that they're not "cliche."
3. Sometimes I wonder why I am in such an all-fired rush. I mean, what's the hurry? They'll still be publishing books in a year.
4. Okay, I'll admit it. I love adverbs, alright? AND adjectives!
5. I drink too much Dr. Pepper.
Well that was fun. I'm sensing a new MeMe here! I tag all of you!
. . . kidding.
Feel free to ignore this entire post. I'm just in a weird mood tonight.

Renee, Renee.....
It is so clear we are twins. I can give a big ditto to each one except for the last one insert pepsi.....the big difference between us is: you have written books and I haven't...sigh...if you need a change...check out my blog for a new contest that will guarantee hours of laughter and fun( he he he yes this is a shameless plug for my blog:) )
Oh Renee, I LOVE adjectives too! And I don't understand what people's problems are with them. I get paranoid sometimes, but most of the time I can let that one go.
The cliche thing, that can be so hard, too. Just remember there are only so many stories, and the differences lie in the telling YOU bring.
Adjectives are delightful, wonderful, exciting, and indespensible.
As are you ; )
Without adjectives the world would be a deficient, unsatisfactory and miserable place but we wouldn't be able to say it!!!
I have discovered that my inner editor doesn't have an off button either, therefore writing against the clock is impossible for me. Ho hum!
I love number three as I can relate. I have been telling myself that same thing for the past month. I don't know how good that is --lol--but it makes a good excuse!
SOunds like you need a short break too then jump back in!
Diana-Well, I got a two year head start on you. In two years, you'll be a famous author and I'll be your bitter, semi-crazed sister. :)
Also, I'm going to check out your blog right now.
And lastly, CUTE new profile pic. Karl looks adorable and you look hot!
Natalie-It good to know that I'm not the only one. :) And, you're right about the whole cliche thing. I have to keep reminding myself that if I'm trying not to be cliche, it will probably be okay.
Kiersten-Thanks ;) You are kind, insightful, generous, and clever.
Janey-lol, it's true! I think things would be pretty boring without adjectives.
Terri-It's hard, isn't it? I just feel so impatient sometimes. I think I do need a little break, a break from thinking about it. (Though that might be clinically impossible when one is querying.)
This is funny. Number one troubles me too. :-)
Dr. Pepper, huh? My downfall is Coke. I avoid that aisle whenever I go to walmart.
2, 3, & 4, I am very guilty of, very, very obsessively guilty of. Oh it's fun to look at our weaknesses. Tomorrow can we brag about how awesome we are? :)
Jessica-I try to avoid the soda aisle, but it's no use. My fridge is always well stocked. :)
Kasie-It is kind of fun to stare our weaknesses in the face. Why is that I wonder? I think I'm slightly masochistic.
But, yeah, maybe my next post will be filled with shameless bragging. :)
Wait, I wouldn't call these failings. They're "qualities," Renee, "qualities!" Have a nice weekend!
Yeah, qualities. I like that, Joanne. :)
