Anyway, as part of the blog, each week we play a round of truth or dare with our readers. Well, I took my first dare this week. I had to draw a scene from my book in story board format. And since I did all the work already, I might as well post here on my woebegone little blog.
So, with no further ado, I present, a scene from RELIC!
If my stick figure mediocrity hasn't scared you away, you can always go add RELIC on GoodReads. Just sayin'. ;)

Best stick figures ever!
I know you were trying to be funny with your picture, but ACTUALLY, for stick figures they are very good. You should start writing stick figure graphic novels. And I'm very excited for your book, Renee. I already was. But now more. I love your new picture, too. BEAUTIFUL.
Candice, why can't I post comments on your blog? And why do you and Renee like to disappear from the blogosphere? You know it's like you don't exist unless you post on your blog. (Okay, I haven't posted for five weeks, but still...)
Candice-Well, YOU'RE the best person ever. :)
Jessie-Aw, thank you. That's very kind of you to say. I did try pretty hard to make those pictures presentable, heh. :)
hey, I think it's very interesting this little story you draw here. I can't wait to read your book!:)

The stick-figure drawings are such a fun and creative way to add personality to the post! Sometimes simple illustrations can be more memorable than elaborate artwork, especially when they capture the humor and excitement behind a story. It’s also lovely to see readers already looking forward to the book.

The simple stick-figure drawings give this post such a fun and personal touch. I like how a small creative detail can make a post memorable and give readers another reason to connect with the author. It also reminded me how much good organization matters when managing digital information. For anyone dealing with Outlook PST files and Microsoft 365 migration, Import PST to Office 365 can be useful for moving mailbox data while retaining folder structure, metadata, emails, calendars, contacts, and attachments.
